The Border Training Centre offers technical training (Fitting & Turning, Welding) and automotive-related training such as Motor & Diesel, Mechanic, Spray Painting and Panel Beating. On the Civils side, its CETA-recognised construction training is extensive. Skills involved in this category include: Brick and Blocklaying, Plastering, Carpentry, Joinery, Plumbing, Painting and Decorating.

• Over the past 30 years Border- Kei Training Trust has provided
cutting edge training for the people of Eastern Cape. Along with its commited
management team and dedicated facilitators, the trust has triumphed over a
difficult restructuring path, and today, its courses and facilities are regarded as
being among the best in the region.
• Border Kei Training Trust is a section 21 company with a board of trustees. As such, long standing associations have been formed with the Derpartment of
labour and other Government departments, various NGO's local authorities
and commerce and industry.
